Dear Peter,
This is a note to express our gratitude for the excellent organization involved in our recent China Tour. We could not fault the structure or the competent manner in which things flowed.
The Chinese tour guides were excellent helping in every way they could, making our trip hassle free and patiently answering our continuous stream of questions. All the bus drivers were excellent; we certainly appreciated their good driving.
The accommodation was above what we expected and we appreciated the high standard.
We believed the itinerary gave us a good overview of China covering all the main tourist attractions, which we thoroughly enjoyed.
We were offered a detour on our way to Suzhou which we were so glad we took; it was quite special. Our Tour guide Frank, suggested we go via Shing Pu, if we wanted to see the real China. It is a town incorporating water canals lined with trees and old buildings. For an extra 200 Yuan, you could be taken by sanpan boats down these water ways. We felt we saw the real China with men and women sitting on the footpath selling their home produce, vegies, chooks fish etc. and narrow alley ways lined with stall type shops, selling anything and everything. We all thoroughly enjoyed this experience and would suggest you consider including it on the itinerary.
Many thanks Peter for your contribution to a wonderful tour. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this trip to others. It was so efficiently organized, covering the major tourist attractions at a comfortable pace.
